A restoration by Mike Resnick of the Poster Apartments by Richard Neutra. Mr. Resnick has kindly donated all proceeds from this event to the funds to restore the Richard and Dion Neutra VDL Research House II in Silverlake ( neutravdl.org ). Memorial Day weekend was a big show of the apartments, with each one of the rooms furnished by a different designer, this one by R2. Here’s a tight view of the pebble carpet and their stools turned on the lathe. View large to see the fibers of the carpet!

This last weekend was a big show of the apartments, with each one of the rooms furnished by a different designer.
A few months ago, this shadow wouldn’t have been here, as there was a HUGE rubber tree blocking this spot, but now the paving becomes a beautiful screen for this shadow from the staircase to play upon.
