The dining room wall had been a hodgepodge of Lack shelves, artwork, knickknacks and old office furniture that simply wasn’t functional. Now, voila! Drama! (aided by friend and neighbour, ms. zura).

As an element of design, door and cabinet hardware pieces often get the short shrift. Utilitarian, to be sure, they function as a means to open a drawer or door. And sometimes, on modern cabinetry, they’re no-shows: A touch-latch mechanism provides the way in.
