  7. Fermatprime says:

@AllAlongAndGone We’re talking about Jon Benjamin? So false: he has one of the best and broadest comedy resumes of anyone alive. I highly recommend his new animated show, “Archer,” which is hilarious (but not exactly the same style as HM)

@DanRSL i disagree but each to his own i suppose

  9. MindlessMiles says:

McGuirk: You have a laundry business right?
    Eric: I’m in real estate
    McGuirk: So you’re rich
    Eric: Eric
    Mcguirk: Ernest
Eric: No I’m being ernest when I’m saying Eric

    love that exchange

  12. TheGingerlocks says:

Coach, “Melissas’ a good kid…you got a pretty good kid there.
Eric, “I call her my little sunshine daisy”
Coach, “MELISSA YOU IDIOT.. KICK THE BALL! I bet her moms pretty though…”

    Totally brilliant.

  13. damyndraeko says:

The voice of Melissa’s father is the same of Doctor Katz, who in that series was the father of the voice of Coach McGirk, who’s mother also left them both high and dry. It was interesting that Erik was telling that story to Coach that his wife had left. I was thinking….rehash. :-P I LOVE this show.

  23. darkprose says:

Oh, the Nazis…no need to bring them in!

I enjoy all of these shows, Family Guy, Home Movies. I don’t think one is “better” than the other, but they are different. My point, if I remember, it was awhile ago, was that The Simpsons went a long way to show people what a television cartoon could do in terms of breadth of comedy, satire, drama. I am thankful for that because I wouldn’t want to be without Home Movies or Family Guy.

  24. MrLejend says:

and we wouldnt have a lot of medical advances with out the Nazi’s

just cause they were here first… dont make them better

but you’re right.. i’ll defend that… Family wouldnt exist without the simpsons… they stole the same formula… just Family Guy does it better… but its spin offs suck
