I’m usually not a fan of sky scrapers being put up to near wonderful buildings like the houses of parliament and the tower of London, but there is something truly majestic about the shard. For some reason is just fits. It maybe because it’s covered in glass and reflects the sky, which makes it look like an illusion. It also fits so well with the curving, glasslike River Themes (very magical). I can only imagine what it will look like at night. I think it’s truely a thing of beauty.
