Thanks to DiP, we have the Ip Man Teaser Trailer. So I’m promoting this movie like crazy!! Synopsis: In the 1930s, Foshan thrives as the hub of Chinese wushu, with various sects actively recruiting disciples. They often compete against each other to prove their strengths. While Yip Man is an accomplished martial artist, he is unassuming and keeps a low-profile, and doesn’t run any martial arts school nor accept students. He only stays at home, quietly sparring with his compatriots in friendly competitions, swapping pointers with each other. One day, Yip Man (Donnie Yen) is challenged by Master Liao (Chen Zhi Hui), who just set up a wushu school, in a closed match. Yip Man’s buddy Martial Zealot Lin (Xing Yu), who witnessed the entire fight, tells everyone about Master Liu losing. Seeing it as a public humiliation, Master Liao gets into disputes with Yip Man. Henchmen of Jin Shan Zhao (Fan Siu Wong) are going around challenging various wushu schools in Foshan. In one fight, Martial Zealot Lin is mortally wounded. Yip Man comes to his rescue, only to be stopped by Jin Shan Zhao. Everyone gathers around to watch the match whereby Ip Man dispenses the latter with ease using four Wing Chun Forms: fist, footwork, blade and cudgel. Ip Man becomes an instant hero and there develops a craze for Wing Chun in Foshan. Following Japanese invasion in 1937, everyone’s life is adversely affected. Yip Man’s property is confiscated and his family is forced to live in a decrepit house …
Small spoiler in that you see some of the regions available in the game, nothing plot wise. t wasn’t as bad as Japanese invasion of China. Did you know Japan caused $383 billion dollars worth of property damage in China (90 times Japan’s GDP n 1937)….. by comparison, Imperial Japan’s 1937 GDP was a tiny $7.7 billion compared to the $383 billion dollars and 30 million lives lost.

The movie itself is remarkable!
One thing that boggles my mind is the scene with the Japanese general giving food to Ip Man. Ip Man says “you invaded our country and killed our people, stop be hypocritical.” This saying has stuck in my head because China also has been (and still is) brutally oppressive in its own invasions of other countries (such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, etc) and killed many ppl.

Majority of Hollywood would never be open minded to this kind of film unless Jackie Chan is involved. Donnie Yen is a beast and highly underrated in the West.

Huh. I got that by upgrading a house behind in Bowerstone Market. I think it was the monster house or something. It’s behind the potion shop. But, I didn’t need to get to Bloodstone to finish it up. I just slept off and on. Still, nice job, dude. Btw, I prefer the katana. It’s faster.

hey… i’d like to say that you can buy furniture in Bowerstone Market… then sleep for 7 days. then you can go back and the lady will be restocked… thats what i did and it worked out good.
