you can easily find online mortgage calculators and run the numbers to see what im saying

you also are buying a house that you only owe 80% of market value for the day you sign the loan

if you only owe 80% of the value of the home the day you buy it you can easily sell it and have a nice pile of cash any time you want or need to

and youll never be like many people out there right now who have lost their home because they lost a job and cant sell their home because they have no equity

  2. 7plymaple says:

this is good info , but it will keep you in debt much longer and cost you alot more money in interest unless you are VERY disciplined with extra payments

the best bet is a 15 year , fixed mortgage with 20% down to avoid pmi insurance

20% down sounds like alot to some people , but it simply means you rent a bit longer , which will pay off HUGE when you get the mortgage and see how much you will save unlike people who only put down 5% and buy a few years sooner

Great information, David! if only more homeowners had listened to your advice before committing themselves to loans they could not afford…

    In St pete holy fuck.
People who live in St Pete have it better tho who dont live in planned communities.
FL has gone to shit and will be sinking while the north survives.

put it on NetRipOffs(.)com – no need to take this!

  11. danvineribob says:

If you force place ins. thru your mortgage co they will insure you with L of L, at $7,000 for wind only & commission and tell you they don’t shop ins. or look in your file & insure it reasonably. The government bailed out the insurance co (AIG)for ripping us off. The banks are in cohoots with the insurance co, the losses they are claiming are paper losses created this big scam and we the taxpayers are bailing them out to screw us again with tarp funds. Wake up America!

  12. redheadjessicab says:

You are insured based on replacement cost. This has nothing to do with property values in your area.

  13. redheadjessicab says:

Are you out of your mind? Lol.

  14. echospeaks says:

I was originally paying 2200 my insurance went up to 5100 I put storm shutters and verified that the local fire house was .5 miles away my insurance is now 2100.

fire house originally shown 10 miles in my insurance policy by proving it was closer insurance went down

  15. billsgram says:

I have First Home Ins Fla, real greedy con artists! I pay 2,700 for HO a yr, 3200. deduc for hurricanes. It’s due in March 09. Just got a bill today for 207. extra due July 7th coming up. No explanation for this although I do see they raised the price of my house to 179.000. I had it lower since our town is loaded w/forclosed houses, no work & prices on houses went down big time. Only worth 111,000 now.

  16. KARStarla says:

Sure makes living in your car look inviting, thats sad, I’d be freaking, especially because Florida is known to be a retirement place for the elderly and they are on fixed incomes, even if your not that jump is extremely high, he’s right its a rip off. The hard thing there is they are subject to hurricanes, I’d move

  17. zyvek says:

Try to see if your ‘Forced Place insurance’ would not be better.

  18. GetHomeInsurance says:

Where do you get good home insurance?

  19. ExiledCarebear says:

This is totally unbelivable I live in the UK and we do have a slightly different insurance system, we have to pay for buildings and also contents insurance,

  20. ExiledCarebear says:

now the buildings insurance is mandatory if you have a mortagage and its all tierd on the rebuild value of your home and any risks nearby like flooding rivers etc our insurance for my home is like £70 = $160-$170 dollars, and thats at the top end of the scale allowing the house to be rebuilt with $420,000 to cover that cost should it be damaged or destroyed

  21. ExiledCarebear says:

I can’t imagine anything like this ever being pulled off in the UK EVER !!!! my heart goes out to all residents of Florida this is a outrage. I can’t belive that have been allowed to get away with this. (respect to the posting mate) the only way anyone listens to the public is if they raise thier voices. as the public are no longer represented by our elected politicians.

  22. myjoebig says:

It is time to take our country back from these theiveing politicians and low life cooperate big business scum bags. They would steal their mothers last dollar to benefit themselves.

  23. myjoebig says:

I have Nationwide. After a storm they offered $1800 for $9200 in damages.I said no so they started an investigation claiming I may have ripped the new roof off my home.Low life scum.

  24. myjoebig says:

More big business rip offs. They support the politicians so the government lets them cheat and scam even the disabled.

  25. dinah66 says:

you are suppose to say two thousand five hundred and forty nine damn dollars. that is total shit and it’s not right, america’s legal scam all the insurance companies. BASTARDS

  26. SliGrewUpaScrewUP says:
